A series of monthly conversations with representatives from the Lincoln faith community to encourage interfaith dialogue and promote cultural understanding
Holy Friends is “a small window on a large subject,” as Barbara Brown Taylor writes in her most recent book, Holy Envy: Finding God In The Faith Of Others .
This is not a primer on religions; rather a space to explore what is opened and what is revealed when we accept the invitation to investigate all the wonder before us.
Here we learn not only that God’s preferred language is driven by curiosity and specializes in questions, but we also discover the spiritual riches God can teach us from the faith of others.
Meetings will be monthly (with the exception of December) on the 4th Monday, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Bryan West, Conference Center A/B, 16th & South Streets.
