It is important to remember that the Orthodox Church is a spiritual hospital, not a court of law. The priest is called to be a spiritual healer, not a prosecuting attorney.
We are not here to attack anyone, condemn anyone, hate anyone or persecute anyone, but to strive to live a life in Christ through the Holy Church. The Church does not send anyone to heaven or to hell, but rather prepares those who are being healed for their ultimate encounter with the love and glory of God. At that time, their consciences will judge them. The Church judges no one, but offers spiritual healing to all.
